You must adhere to the following application guidelines in order to qualify for full consideration.

ALL APPLICANTS
In order to demonstrate financial need, all applicants must provide their most recently filed tax returns, with all attached schedules, W-2s and 1099s. Additionally, all applicants must provide documentation of the veteran’s status through a copy of the DD-214.

AWARD
After verification of eligibility, the Board members will meet to ascertain the amount of assistance that it could provide to the applicant through pro bono attorney time or funding towards the legal assistance of our registry attorneys. The dollar amount of these awards is contingent upon the level of funding the organization receives and is at the discretion of the Board of Directors.

FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Call or write the executive director, Nina Vidmer, of the Veterans’ Legal Aid Society.
