Our History

The Veterans’ Legal Aid Society was founded to fill a critical need: to assist Veterans and their families in seeking Aid and Attendance benefits and provide income-based legal aid services to Veterans of limited means. There are few legal practitioners who specialize in this area, and consequently, many Veterans receive little help in filing the myriad forms required to receive non-service-related pension benefits.
